Our Radiology Department came up with a gentle reminder to our co-workers to wash their hands before and after handling each patient.. it started off just us saying wash in ....wash out out loud to each other. It became a bit obnouxious so I came up with the annagram W.I.W.O. The handwashing committy here loved our gentle reminder and asked to submit a video for the 3M innovation awarrd so I came up with a super hero "wonder W.I.W.O." Who fights the bacteria with her AVAGARD powers. Nathan A. Nosocomial (AKA: NAN) is her arch enemy and his bacreria soldiers C-diff, VRE and MRSA, Dr. Phil Thee is a character in the video who is working with a patient who has MRSA and then goes to examine the next patient and comes very close to infecting her until the Nurse AVA Gard gets to the WIWO phone just intime before MRSA gets to her. All of the characters are made up and played by hospital staff.
